Immaculate is passionate about fostering a sense of hope in other single mums, while creating opportunities for them to economically empower themselves.
For 36 years, she worked for the United Nations- a global diplomatic and political organization dedicated to international peace and stability. Throughout her career, she worked in countries that were recovering from political instability and war. Among these were Somalia, Liberia, Sudan and South Sudan. In addition, she worked in Nairobi, which is one of the UN Headquarters. Here, she was responsible for the overall coordination, formulation, allocation, and management of the organizations’ budgets upward of USD$ 750 million.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Sociology from University of Nairobi/Kenya, and an MBA from University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. In addition, she has certificates in Effective Negotiations in Project, Conflict resolution in the workplace, Integrity Awareness, and Leadership.

As a Writer, Entrepreneur and a Social Justice Advocate, Sharon is passionate about seeing the restoration of dignity to all people. Moving them from dependence to independence and restored self-esteem.
She has worked on issues related to Sustainable (social and economic) Development in Africa, Gender Based Violence and its impact on women, The role and empowerment of Female Entrepreneurs within the Informal Economy, Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Development in Africa as well as the need for Women’s Entrepreneurial Empowerment through access to local and global value chains.
She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Services (Sociology, Psychology and Religious Studies) from Tyndale University/Canada, an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Seneca College/Canada, a Bachelor of Arts (Honors Degree) in Development Studies from the University of Cape Town/South Africa, a Master of Philosophy in Social Justice and Development from University of Cape Town/South Africa and a Certificate in Digital Content and Copywriting from the Red and Yellow Creative School of Business/South Africa
